Thank you to Peppers Manor House for a lovely stay in the Southern Highlands. So good to getaway from the hustle and bustle for a few days!

A scenic 90 minute drive south of Sydney (depending on what time you leave). Entering Peppers you are welcomed by a long and open driveway through the stunning grounds. Pepper have owned this Manor House since 1993 and before that it has a long history, starting with Dr. Charles Throsby who was part of a pioneering group sent by Governor Macquarie to open up Jervis Bay.

Greeted at reception, at their grand country house exuding old world charm. You will also find the most inviting fireplace!

We stayed in the Garden Wing Deluxe Bedroom. So spacious and all recently renovated including the bathroom with a grand bathtub all without losing it’s charm.

We had dinner at their restaurant, Katers, which has been awarded five consecutive Chef Hats in the Australian Good Food Guide Awards. The food is amazing and fresh, the ambiance is cosy and the staff are all lovely.

Adjacent, you will find their Mt Broughton championship golf course which features lush greens, vistas waterways and rolling fairways. It really is picturesque!

Thanks again Peppers, we had such an amazing stay. A wonderful option for a weekend getaway! Feeling very relaxed!
