Live at Lunch: If Music Be the Food of Love

August 19, 2015 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

| $28

Australia’s much loved Tenor, David Hobson shows his sensitive side in this sumptuous concert of early English and French love songs.

A tribute to works by Dowland, Handel, Purcell and luscious French repertoire (Hahn, Faure, Bizet, Massenet) from David’s best-selling album, The Exquisite Hour.

The concert is accompanied by pianist Vincent Colagiuri and Tommie Andersson (Lute and Theorbo) with a guest appearance by Artistic Director, flutist Jane Rutter.

The Live at Lunch concert series is a highlight event of the Sydney lunchtime concert calendar. The six concert series features a host of international artists including the Acacia Quartet, Taryn Fiebig, David Hobson and Slava Grigoryan.

LUNCH: Join Jane Rutter and her guest artists for lunch at Terrazza on The Concourse after each concert.
